We’re technically mostly Xennials – which is a microgeneration between Generation X and Millennials. When we were growing up, the Internet was still hidden behind a dial-up sound. We played with our friends outside until dark instead of indoors in front of screens. Cell phones – when they became available – went from huge, to tiny, to shiny. Let’s face it – once technology really started to roll, change was inevitable!
One thing we noticed was the gap in knowledge between folks our parents’ age and their kids – the more time that went by, the wider that gap seemed to get. Suddenly the youth had new lingo, new habits, new everything!
And we also realized that this disconnect could be frustrating – to the parents that felt left behind, and to the children that felt misunderstood. Is there anything more important than bridging this gap while we can?
That’s where we come in! We’re here to serve as your Generational Bridge – dishing up weekly insight in the form of a Saturday Newsletter directly to your inbox. We’ll include tips on what’s trending, pop culture pieces, and other tidbits that will shed some light on what’s going on with the kids these days.
It’s our way of giving back to you – as a thank you for all the hard work that you do raising us and our GenZ and Millennial brothers and sisters!
We hope you enjoy!
Cheers!
